There are 5 courses in the Phuket area. On all courses you can hire clubs, trolley and shoes. Caddy is mandatory:
Phuket Golf and Country Club is the perfect course for those who are moderately good players and want a challenge of a demanding course. It is very diverse with many ponds and each hole has its own character. Lush fairways surrounding the two lakes and on the road over the 18 holes you will pass both forest and open, hilly terrain. The course is situated in the Kathu district, about 15 minutes from Patong.
Loch Palm a nice, easy and enjoyable course with wide fairways. The track surrounding Crystal Lake, and here you can test your skills when it comes to get over all the ponds. The course is situated in the Kathu district, about 15 minutes from Patong.
Banyan Tree Club a fairly easy course with wide fairways and few pools. The holes are not particularly demanding, and the views of the Andaman Sea is wonderful. The course is situated towards the airport at Bangtao, about 35 minutes from Patong.
Blue Canyon Country Club a great course that has staged several major golf tournaments. Among others, Tiger Woods won here! It can be difficult to start, so book several days in advance. The course is situated on the northern Phuket at the airport.
Thai Muang Beach Golf an exclusive course located on the mainland in the Phang Nga province.
